Buffalo Ridge Golf Course
Matching the beauty of Top of the Rock greens is the redesigned Buffalo Ridge Golf Course, under new ownership. It’s already acclaimed as one of Missouri’s top golf courses. It was transformed by the conservationist visionary Johnny Morris and celebrated golfing architect Tom Fazio. New additions include innovative approaches, novel water features, pristine golf carts, and bunkers. It’s been redesigned to carry players into Ozark nature during tee times, with native grasses and free range buffalo from nearby Dogwood Canyon Nature Park.
Golf Magazine has dubbed it the #1 public access course in Missouri and 1 of the state's top ten by Golf Digest for over 10 years. Buffalo Ridge Golf Course has re-opened in 2015, following a renovation by Fazio. Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine said it’s 1 of the "Top 100 Courses Under $100." The year already the reviews are astounding! When it was the Branson Creek Golf Club it was named by Golf Magazine and Golf Digest as among the "Top 10 New Courses in the Country.” Golf Digest had also named it the "Top Public Golf Course in Missouri." Branson Creek Golf Course
Buffalo Ridge was previously known as Branson Creek Golf Course. It was designed by Tom Fazio and is now owned by Big Cedar Lodge, an affiliate with Bass Pro Shop in Branson Missouri. The Branson Creek Golf Club was bought by Johnny Morris along with Murder Rock Golf Course and Top of the Rock. Millions have been poured into the old Branson Creek Golf Course and the club house to bring exciting new luxurious editions and improvements. The atmosphere is indicative of the rest of the Ozark’s character and is very relaxed and has staff with a rural southern charm. However, it never sacrifices professionalism. The fairways are fantastic and the greens are exceptionally smooth and rolled unbelievably well.
