It’s one of the newest shows in town this season. The new smash hit production, Puttin' on the Ritz, which has sold out venues worldwide is here. Audiences at King’s Castle Theater witness original song and dance routines from major musical films within the last 50 years of film at this show. Puttin on the Ritz Branson MO show features an astounding tribute to the famous Fred Astaire. It’s an accolade of the Golden Age of Hollywood with elegance, refinement, innovation and rhythmic precision of tap, ballet, and ballroom dance. The performance is accompanied by a cast of professional singers and dancers.

 

Audiences will be taken on a journey with some of the most ageless and iconic footage on the big screen as the performers entertain in 1920’s and 1930’s style throughout the show. Some of the tributes to famous performers, movie stars and musicians from this era include Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Cole Porter, Irvin Berlin, Ginger Rogers, and more! Audiences sing along to “I Got Rhythm,” “Rock a Bye Your Baby,” “Anything Goes,” “Top Hat,” “Cheek to Cheek,” “There’s No Business Like Show Business,” and “Singing in the Rain” among other great hits. Colorful costumes, powerful singing and swift dancing from this talented cast are sure to entertain you! This year the performance is at King’s Castle Theater right off the Branson Strip on Old 76.
